New Routine

Dear all

This blog has been incredibly neglected for quite a while, *dusty*! Time to do a mini revival after so long :) my old iPhone USB was faulty, and thankfully I got a new 2m one during their sales so I saved a little bit of money! Plus I finally had the chance to transfer all my photos from my iPhone to my mac teehee.

Let me share a mini story about our new phase in life (R's internship + My partial exchange sem)!

I spend my Wednesdays and Thursdays at SMU, kind of my worst days of the week, so I'm extremely thankful that R almost always pops by after my dreadful Wed class which ends at a disgusting timing of 6.45pm, going home at peak timing is always awful and by the time you get back it feels like dinnertime has already past. Good thing my home is located strategically in Singapore so it doesn't take me TOO long to get back so I shouldn't be complaining. But I guess I'm just grumpy and needed to whine lah.

So yes I was saying that R frequently came over to find me and make me happier, a perk-me-up for midweek! :)

We went to Thai Express on one of the Wednesdays, because we basically couldn't make up our minds on what to eat (mainly me). Eventually settled for Thai Express and had pretty high hopes for it! But it turned out not very excitable because their food was way extreme on our palates (way too spicy, way too salty). The thai ice tea was my savior though haha!

For dessert, we had Yami Yoghurt! Peach flavor never goes wrong, topped with fruity pebbles to make it more cheerful looking! :)

R can make rectangular lips! *claps* fooling around at the busstop while waiting for the bus to arrive, and it was time to head home after a long long day.

On some other days, I pop by CBD area to find R! After his work, or during his lunch break :)

After his work! We walked to Marina Square teehee :) Once again, we couldn't make up our minds on what to eat for dinner, and we happened to walk past 'Bao Jin Tian' and spontaneously decided to have some dim sum for dinner lol

Some of the food we ordered that came first! Wa the har gao was super goooood. Okay everything was super good. :D Worth a try!!

And on Friday evenings, R ends work slightly earlier! This semester we kind of truly felt what was TGIF for us as a couple. Most of our longer dates can only happen over the weekends now!

On a Friday! We went to Suntec City because we wanted to eat nam nam hehehe and there's a new outlet opened there, so spacious and so empty because I think not many people know about it yet! :p So shiok hehehe

Our favorite bahn mi! Five spiced pork hehehe

Tried a new noodle! Which i regretted a little. Felt very jelat after a while, miss my pho so much!!

And R also tried a new dish! Teehee, looks damn fresh and awesome tasting. I think he likes it quite a bit! But I found it kind of salty for me oops! Pho FTW!!!

Over the weekends, we will always meet up for at least one of the days! :D On one of the weekends prior to CNY, we decided to meet up for Thai food (because the Thai express we had earlier in the week wasn't satisfying enough), we were craving for Nakhon!! :D And R came over to my house downstairs for his monthly haircut with the LBN hahaha! No pictures of the meal because we were starving after a long queue of 1 hour and we ordered our usuals.

After dinner, we went to check out the flower markets to bask in the CNY atmosphere! Wa so gorgeous and I felt really happy to be there :) Feels nice to look at all the pretty tangerines and lovely flowers. It was a stretch full of flower shops so we walked around in all of them to see which has prettiest flowers etc!

Alrighty, that's all from us!

This is basically how our new routine is like this semester, working around with each other's schedule, R accommodating and tolerating my weekly grumpiness and complaints. :p love him so much :) HEHE going to be so rarely sweet this week since V'day is round the corner!

Happy Valentine's Day to everyone out there! :D
