Quotes

It's been raining for the entire afternoon, such a wonderful weather to relax and stay chill in the midst of this exam period. Done with my penultimate paper today morning and I've 3 days till my last paper, so self declared rest day for the rest of this lovely Saturday! 

Today I've decided to share some interesting things about R and I's past :D While we were dating (umm sort of but not really), like prior to when we officially got together, R frequently sent me nice quotes or cute pictures to keep me entertained! HAHA, at that time I found it pretty cute to receive kitty pictures like this:

HAHA well, I never noticed that he got the picture off 9GAG… but the kitty's death stare was really cute. I've lost all these quotes/pictures because I'd changed my phone after we got together and all these pictures vanished into thin air (and also because R stopped sending me these cutesy stuff after we got together.) So occasionally I complain to him about how he stops trying hard to strike a convo anymore because we're basically always talking to each other 24/7 whenever we're not asleep or doing anything important. 

So he searched back deep into his photo album and sent me a few of those quotes he used to send me:

He used to whatsapp me these good morning quotes lololol. Can see his effort in trying to please me ;) HAHA and wellz I admit that receiving these quotes when I just woke up did bring a smile to my face *shy* everything is always sweet and shy at the beginning of any romance! But after we got together all the shyness slowly dwindled. Nowadays we greet each other with a *yawn emoticon* with a 'morningz' HAHA. Okay actually that's mostly me. R still wishes me good morning and good night with such enthusiasm everyday keke *beams*

After we got together, he sent me some pretty weird quotes as well, probably hinting that I should get him more coffee or something… Hm. and he also got a lot more cheesy in his selections of quotes hahaha, points to quote stolen from the notebook ^. But well he claims that he no longer has the time to browse through pinterest/9gag all that for quotes anymore now that he's attached HAHA

But recently he sent me quite a few of motivational quotes to spur me on for the finals! HEHE, hello darlin' if you're reading this, be awesome for the rest of your papers too! :D

December is arriving! The festive month jingle bells and also the season for neopets :) wuuuhooo. goodbye ding dongs! 

Hunger week

Harow!! I think this is the first time when V and I both blogged on the same day keke :D YAY to more updates on the blog! So this week is the reading week for us NUS students and both of us have been mugging really hard for the upcoming finals :b REALLY HARD! STATS is KILLING the both of us no kidding X.X But I guess this sem is worse for V as she has 5 finals coming up while I only have 3! hehehe jiayou babyy *support support* <3

So on the weekend before our reading week, we gave ourselves a well deserved break from studying and went for some delicious food in town:

 Soho Coffee! Got scammed by Alex for going there for lunch. We were looking forward to his recommendation of the pancake which we found out was removed from the menu D: Had to drink the coffee with an empty stomach and we got kinda crazy after that. Conclusion: No coffee on empty stomach

Dinner on Sunday at Toa Payoh lor 1 where our new found cheap and good thai food resides (no peekture). dessert at creamier after to end off the yummy dinner :D we were there on their 2nd birthday! but sadly there was no birthday discount! LOL CHEAPONANA it was our first time trying their waffles and gotta say its amazinggg!

 On Monday and Tuesday, we stayed home to mug (#sostudious) while enjoying the food that V bought for me. keke exam welfare! Finished most of it on the first day of the reading week LOL. k keeding, but probably more than half of that is in my tummy by now :p

Me going crazy over studying. Obviously bored at home so we thought it my be a good idea to study in school where we can accompany each other :D DENGDENGGGG #helldaynumber2 Just shortly after making V wait for me one week ago, my phone decided to fail me on wed morning when we had arranged to meet for breakfast in the morning for breakfast before mugging. I woke up only around 8.30 and V was already ready to leave house for school :o  

 Look at how angry V was and how cute she is while she is angry <3 awww hahahah! Luckily macs breakfast was able to save me :b Happy dearie after breakfast! As promised 2 mins planking was done for me being late for the day keke XD

Took a midweek break on thurs and went to catch the Hunger games tgt! ITS SO AWESOME please go catch it in the cinema! 

 

Breakfast earlier today at clementi before going to school for some mugging! How studious can we get manz seriously! School on a Sat??? 

 hmmm left school for lunch around 2, apparently not very studious LOL! At least we committed 3 full hours of studying k hahaha XD

Happy girl with her cake! Can't remember the name of this cake from Cedele but its a cheesecake with berries, green tea and meringue! Basically the ingredients V and I would love on our dessert but we were unsure how they would taste together :p Verdict from V: the green tea layer lacks consistency #spokenlikeamasterchef. Me thinks its a nice attempt to bring out some festive mood with all the colours together! Overall it still taste like a cheesecake and its not as gelate as a full cheesecake so its nuddbadd!

Desserts

My teacher used to say, when you're stressed, you've got to eat desserts (stressed spelt backwards) to counter its effect! This pretty plate of waffle + earl grey ice cream @ The Daily Scoop was two weeks back, one of the Fridays of R's hell weeks :) Ice cream was really good *thumbs up* but the waffle that particular night wasn't as amazing.

Nonetheless, desserts make R a happy boy! ^^

These few weeks we have been visiting city hall (in particular, raffles shopping mall + marina square) A LOT. In fact, we just went over there today again hahahaha. Anyway, we chanced upon this frozen yoghurt shop and got greedy when we saw the LARGE tub of froyo selling for… $5 + 3 toppings! :D The servings were really quite generous and we were all happy babies eating froyo, topped with strawberries, oreo crumbs, and rainbow candy coated chocolates! 

We've been having yakitori bento sets pretty often (those from tori Q) keke. Tried this one from Causeway Point basement, can't exactly remember the name though. The yakitori sticks were more flavorful (and salty) than toriQ and the rice weren't as good! :( So for us, definitely ToriQ ftw! :D

On another crazy Friday we went to Star Vista and ate at the HK cafe! Surprisingly yummy and very worth the price (for the signature noodles I ordered) Also ordered a yuan yang to share keke :)

Desserts after that at the kopitiam below my house! :D Cheng teng + ice kachang! 

Here's the ya hua bkt that we tried on Saturday (aka R's hell day) HAHAHA. The meat was super tender, really greattt :D

The next Monday R accompanied me to satisfy some Reedz craving hahaha. We lurrrve the fish and chips they serve there (minus the chips!) :D and I also like the salad they have ;) yum yum.

Headed to NEX after school on Thursday for DTF :3 ordered our usual food hahaha, we're becoming such regulars at DTF! 

And on Friday night, we went back to the chicken rice shop at Upp thomson rd (R thinks it's called Nam Kee, I can't really remember even though we've been there twice, never took notice!), ordered chicken rice + dumpling soup + my favorite pumpkin prawns! :D

Saturday afternoon at Soho Coffee Boutique! Hi there, handsome! ;) 

Ordered chocolate dream (triple chocolate layers) and it came with a lovely heart.

Ordered a flat white that day, and R had a cafe latte. Their coffee is a little too acidic for me, but R found his cafe latte pleasing to his tastebuds ^^ so perhaps, order cafe latte if you're there?

Had our really late lunch at NAM NAM (another of our regular hang out because we have been there for 3 consecutive Saturdays as of today….) HAHA we have such impressive loyalty when it comes to food. When we like it, we really like it. Ordered the fresh coconut that particular day and it costs $6 !! I thought it was a rip off for a coconut to be charged so expensively but well, at least I enjoyed the drink and it was refreshing. Tried Bahn Mi (the sandwich) for the first time too and we love it so much! :D Plus our usual Pho that never fail to warm the tummy ;)

Us

Decided to post something here after transferring the mass of photos from my iphone to my mac. Always motivated to blog about what happened in my life after seeing those photo triggers. Yet, I've too many backdated events to blog about and for tonight, I don't feel like doing a summarized recount of what happened in my life like how I always end up doing *laziness*. Instead, I've decided to update this space with some photos of us! The couple of this ruvly blog:

Yesterday was the last day of school for Y3S1! Finally overrrr and especially proud of the boy for surviving 7 consecutive hours of classes every Friday. It's almost an #achievementunlocked for him keke. :D Glad we all survived the semester, and now it's time the season to do module feedback reviews to get our free 100 points hahaha. Can't really be bothered to do it this sem, actually. After all, I'd probably be a fifth of a NUS student next sem since I'm going for partial local exchange. Can't believe I'm sort of leaving NUS to study in a new environment, I hope I don't lose any of my loyalty points because of that. Besides that, I'm quite stoked to experience a new school culture and learn new things! ^^ 

Planking

Hello loyal fans of ruvly blog (think it's only you dear :p)!! It's been more than one month since the last time I've blogged as I have been overwhelmed by too many birthday celebrations as well as project deadlines. tiring tiring month but extremely fulfilling and happy!! :D Thanks to my beloved girlfriend, this blog has not been neglected for the entire month of October and constantly updated with all the celebrations we have together! YOU ARE DA BEST DEARIE <3

So anyway, last week was the week when all my deadlines for projects were up and it had been a rather crazy week with all the last minute chionging of projects. I think biz students really have this bad habit of slogging all the way to the last moment, TOO KIASU! Thankfully, amid all the group meetings and presentations, V has been very encouraging and patient with the forever busy boyfee. Forever waiting for me to end my meetings, or end my class, come to biz to accompany me for lunch even though she had already eaten hers, buy food for me on fridays because I have no time for lunch. AWW WHY MY GIRLFRIEND SO SWEET! 

However, this retarded boyfriend of hers simply likes to do things to irritate his sweetest girlfriend :p For example, yesterday, we had arranged to meet for dinner at Yahua BKT as I had told V that I would bring her there since forever. I was in school since the morning for my group project and was confident that we would be able to end the meeting by 5. So, I told V that we could meet at Tanjong Pagar at 6 for dinner! Knowing that meeting never ends on time for me, V suggested for us to meet at 6.30 instead so I could have enough time to reach TP. Guess what time it was when I reached TP?? 7!!! :o Holy mama i deserve a tight slapp from myself *slapppp* How can i ever make my girlfriend wait one hour for me! Especially my forever punctual dearie who can never stand being late :p SORRY DEARIE I AM ASHAMED OF MY BEHAVIOR :O Will make sure I keep to my timing and not take you for granted anymoree!

teehee luckily the foodie was yummy! The boss of the shop is really friendly and keeps walking around ensuring that the soup bowl for all his customers are filled with the pepper soup hehe. Such great service! No wonder the customers always return even though it is not situated at accessible part of Singapore yum yum! 

Twelfth

Hi it's me again :D

Here's an extremely unhappy photo of R because he just had his hair cut that day, and to our horror the hairdresser basically screwed it up. It's been nearly a month since this photo was taken so his hair has already grown out a lot more phew HAHA. This photo is just here to commemorate bad hair moments: as a couple, you live through each others' bad haircuts and good hair days :b

Anyway that day prior to the haircut, we went to Bugis and caught About Time! ^^ Great movie! it was a Sunday morning movie and the whole cinema basically only had two couples HAHA whut. After the movie we settled our lunch at Taipei Station. So wanna go back to Taiwan! HAHA i've said this a million times at least.

The next morning, R and I met up for MCBREAKFAST because our lecture was cancelled (HOORAY.) We love hotcakes. In fact, we have been eating too much macs this entire sem. We had macs for like at least 3 times in the last week......... hopeless situation over here.

Next day we met again, bought pontian over for our dinner but it wasn't sufficient. Shared kuaychap for supper when the boy sent me home! :D

We were on a roll that particular week and JUST KEPT EATING. Good food. TCC for dinner at Vivo the next day after school! Tried their new pasta and I've forgotten the name of it but it's really good! :) 

Found this in my camera roll, teehee R without specs and boy his small eyes! ^^ they are really long, hence small. HAHA

Anyway so yes, I mentioned that we were in a roll that week. This was our thursday's lunch. :D ITACHO!

First time trying their udon for the sake of novelty and nope, their udon isn't the type that I adore. I prefer springer ones! 

Oh our glorious fatty salmon HAHA we ordered like 8 of these goodness. :D

Also tried an unagi mini don! Cute and yums :)

Over the weekends we had some garrettgoodtime together at Somerset 313 :D 

On the way to R's mom's birthday dinner place! Had dinner at a thai restaurant keke and the family ordered massively hahhaa was so satisfied from dinner :) 

And rainbow cake for the birthday mommy! :) Yummy cake that looks so pretty! 

And aww, to have my boyfriend professing his love for me at the end of the night :') *mega touched* *tissu prease* 

Okay back to MORE FOOD, newly discovered awesome thai food place at toa payoh lorong 1. Chanced by the place and was impressed by the quality of food there. Completely can't wait to return again! 

Ended off the great meal with ice cream at Creamier, SO SHIOK. thai iced tea ice cream + earl grey lavender :D me loves tea-tea combination 

On Friday! After R's 7pm class he met me at Vivo and we had our dinner at Crystal Jade ;) 

Weekend Brunch together with the boy at Habitat! Really love the food from this cafe wuuuhooo. SATISFYING. nuff' said.

I ordered the sunshine waffles and yes, these sunshine waffles make me smile just looking at the picture. 

The next day, was our 13th monthsary and we went to town after our lecture! To indulge in my favourite udon ;D Super loves!!! First time we ordered the onsen tamago and it was really shiok feeling to dip our udon and meat into the egg gosh, salivating already bring me there againnnn. 

Sometimes I wonder why I torture myself with all these food pictures HAHA. Have been eating wayyyy exceeding my required calorie intake keke, okay not like I count them nor know how to count them. But I really ought to work out just a bit. Physically fit = mentally fitter. Week 12 is almost over. 17 days to finals. HEHE. can't wait till the holidays!
